Since Cloud Gate (The Bean) is(was) under repair, visitors encounter closed gates. In response, artist Yukyeom Kim has crafted 100 floating spheres using helium-filled silver chrome balloons.

100 spheres, reflecting their surroundings, will be distributed for free in front of McCormick Tribune Plaza (Millennium Park), offering fragmented views of the cityscape. Join us on April 27th at noon to receive your balloon and witness its reflection of Chicago.

Each balloon has a unique design tag and your name will be recorded as its first owner on the Chicago Sky for Sale website edition page. (link at the bio) Enjoy the experience of carrying a piece of Chicago’s sky and sharing it with friends.
